Anna Frankl-Duval

Reviews and Press

'Another Day In Paradise, written and directed by Camilla Maxwell, has to be one of the funniest scenes in the evening.  Two travellers, played by Anna Frankl-Duval and Adriana Llabres, a la Lucy and Ethel or Laverne and Shirley, have the worst sunburns you have ever seen. Hilarity ensues.  Seriously this is one of the best pieces.'

'The Three Graces by Richard Manton-Hollis and directed by Paula D'Alessandris...The three sisters played by  Sarah Manton, Anna Frankl-Duval and Ruthie Stephens, are wonderful, and God love them for staying in the same position for a full ten minutes and not so much as a drop in their arms an inch! Crisp, clear writing and clear analysis of the text and three actresses rocking the art world by storm.'

'According to Genesis' Artistic Director, Mary Elizabeth MiCari, the company had intended to cast the male role of Benvolio with a woman, and Frankl-Duval stood out because she "comes across as very strong and very intelligent in her readings...Benvolio, in my mind, needs to be very intelligent. He's a peacemaker.  He's the voice of reason."  MiCari also cites Frankl-Duval's classical training as a plus and says she has already proved a great addition to the company.  "She's one of the gang..she's sort of  a leader in the preparation beforehand, so they bring in great energy as a group." '

'Anna Frankl-Duval was rousing in a passage   from Taming of the Shrew and demure as Louisa from The Fantastiks.'
